Tithonia

This 7 to 8 foot tall Tithonia plant fell over during the winds we got from the edges of Hurricane Sandy.  Since the main stem cracked, I thought it would soon wilt and die, but it's kept going for the last few weeks.  I keep thinking we'll lose it to a frost, but, though we've come close, we haven't had any frost left.
