I've gotten behind on mentioning them:
- Big Time Operator - Big Bad Voodoo Daddy: A fun song from the swing revival.
- Love on a Farm Boy's Wages - XTC: I know this song from the Poozies version. Since they are a Celtic women's group, I was surprised to find that the song originated with a New Wave band.
- How Deep is the Ocean - Betty Buckley: This was a lucky find at a used CD store last week. Betty Buckley was the original Grizabella in Cats and the original Edwin Drood in The Mystery of Edwin Drood. Here, she's singing an Irving Berlin hit from the 1930's.
- Mack the Knife - Sting: His version is closer to the original than the popular, swing versions (which I also like).
- "Annan Waters" - Kate Rusby: A sad song sung by a lovely voice.
- Medley - Elton John, Bette Midler, and Cher: A fun performance that I found.
