I haven't done one of these in a month!
- "Duke's In Town" by Joe Sealy, a Canadian jazz musician. This piece is in honor of a visit Duke Ellington payed to Africville in Halifax.
- "CrushCrushCrush" by Paramore, the only current punk band fronted by a woman.
- "Goody Goody" by the Chenille Sisters - great harmonies from their swing album.
- "It's Hot Up Here" from "Sunday in the Park with George" sung by Bernadette Peters and Company in one of my favorite musicals (yes, that's Data singing "This is not my good profile").
- "Are Ye Sleeping Maggie" by the Tannahill Weavers, an energetic Scottish traditional band.
- "Easy Winners" by Scott Joplin from the Soundtrack to "The Sting." I didn't care all that much for the movie, but it did give me a love for ragtime.
OK first time I've seen you put up a song by a band *currently* popular with teens! :-) Paramore is big in this house... though I didn't know they were considered punk?

Just checked their website. It says they are "pop-punk".
Everything's a hyphen these days. :-)
