"Look, daffodils! Spring isn't far off"
"Will you stop saying that!"
I wasn't much fun for dear husband to take a walk with last weekend. Flowers mean spring; spring means graduation; and graduation means older son possibly moving away (if he finds a job somewhere else). I've been very resistant to spring, and flowers, until the last few days. On Monday, I finally decided that spring, graduation, etc. were all coming anyway so I might as well enjoy the flowers.
Here's what's I'm finally enjoying in our yard:
I was surprised to find the reticulated irises blooming.
Daffodils
The pansies on the deck have been blooming unusually well this winter, even after cold spells.

Lovely flowers, I especially love the irises, a bit early for us here in London, we have had too cold weather for too long, but soon, very soon we'll catch up :-)

All so pretty! Yes, yes, enjoy them! Maybe your son will find a job somewhere not too far away.
