Just in case you needed to know!
While we were in Charleston, SC earlier this week, we toured the aircraft carrier, U.S.S. Yorktown. It was commissioned in 1943, and decommissioned in 1970. During World War II, the Yorktown served in the Pacific. With over 3,300 active men on board and an average age of 19, the kitchens were very busy!
