It's the final day of NaBloPoMo* - the final NaBloPoMo opinionated post. I have mixed opinions about how this turned out. On the positive side, it did help me to loosen up a bit, writing-wise (maybe too much, some days).
On the negative side, I felt like I was focusing too much on strong opinions - for me. Some days, particularly after my surgery, I would have a difficult time coming up with something to write about (I'm still really tired, though I got by with only one nap today). Some days, I just wanted to write something lighter and fluffier. Some days, I didn't want to sit in the strong opinions long enough to write and edit.
I also forgot the downside of NaBloPoMo. Because I'm trying to post something every day, not just write something every day, I didn't work on some of the longer, more researched posts that I've been pondering. I also haven't bothered to transcribe a post I dictated into my mp3 player because that would take more than the writing time I have in one day.
I'm glad I tried, and I'm glad it's done.
