Tonight's Joseph rehearsal was fantastic! We did some dancing - the first theater dancing I've been able to do since my knee surgery. It was only about eight bars worth, but I had a wonderful time. I feel better, emotionally, than I have... since my knee surgery. There's something throwing myself into very active things that just makes me feel alive.
Now, whether I was wise to throw myself into it quite so much is another question. It wasn't bouncy choreography and I was careful of my knee. I'm going to go get a back of ice, just to be careful, so I'll leave you with this video of Jerry Lewis.
