« Friday Fun Song: "Sleigh Ride" - Boston Pops | Main | What's Been Happening Here »

We were in NYC one year when Chicago was playing, with Bebe Neuwirth. I was dying to see it with her, but it was WAY sold out. So we saw Blue Man Group instead, early on when not so many people knew of them, and it was tons of fun. Later that year, we saw a touring version of Chicago in Raleigh and I just thought it was fantastic. (And I generally dislike musicals and stage productions. Sorry! You are free to disqualify me from friend/relative status.) I have to agree that the movie version was pale in comparison.

Relative by marriage so it's fine. Besides, I have lots of friends who don't really care for musicals. At least my kids enjoy them so I don't bore them with musicals. Just with other things...
